My approach:

• My speciality is portrait photojournalism. This is a blend of photojournalism, an approach that captures the days events as they happen with little if any direction from the photographer, and break-out portrait sessions with the wedding party and family. During these sessions creative, sensitive portraits are created. We emphasize low-stress, fun portrait sessions that bring editorial and even advertising elements into your wedding portraits. I do not provide the "traditional" type of wedding photography that provides extensive use of studio backgrounds, lighting and posing. We are focused on being a part of the flow of your day, not directing that flow..
• I bring a commitment to quality and more than 30 years experience to every wedding.
• I am entirely digital, using Nikon DSLRs and professional Nikon optics.
• I'm not a prima donna photographer; it's your day, I go with the flow.
• I always require a meeting with the bride and groom prior to booking the wedding so I have a good understanding of your schedule and what kind of pictures you want.
• I post-process all images before posting to our reprint ordering Web site. If you select the file buy-out option, you will receive processed files, not images straight from the camera. Our processing involves color and density correction, cropping, noise reduction when necessary and artistic interpretations, including color drop outs, frames, filters, black-and-white conversions and other effects.
• All my wedding plans include a spiral-bound proof album, measuring 10-by-13-inches, printed by a professional photo lab on Fuji Crystal Archive PHOTO paper, not inkjet paper.
• All wedding packages include uploading of processed images to our lab's Web site for easy viewing and ordering. Your images are usually online by the time you return fronm the honeymoon!
• NEW FOR 2008 Weddings! Packages booked after Sept. 1, 2007, include the high-resolution files on DVD, ready for printing. Home use license provided.
• Every wedding booked at least six months in advance includes a free engagement portrait session at an Ashtabula County location of your choice and a FREE 8X10! We can also create a DVD of your engagement photos and childhood photos to show at your reception (additional charge).
• Your images can also be made into a DVD with music and transitions that make it look and sound like a video production. Request a sample DVD to see an actual wedding show.
